The parcel
Clay-limestone, rocky and limestone. South orientation, cool and windy microclimate. Vineyard: Average age: 45 years, 10,000 vines/ha. Grape variety: Chardonnay fine type, quality rootstock. Culture: Sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Winemaking & ageing
Whole-bunch pressing, followed by light settling and immediate transfer to Burgundy barrels. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation, in Burgundy barrels. Ageing: 14 months on the lees, under reductive conditions, without racking, with lees stirring and no SO2.
Tasting notes
It is a fresh, elegant and precise wine. It has a tasty shell on the surface and fleshy inside. Lemony, floral notes evoke great complexity. It is a vibrant wine with great energy.
